Watering Can Bouquet

So how is your week going?  Mine started with the wonderful blessing of a dear friend making it smoothly through his second open heart surgery in the last three months.  God is so good and like the card says, He is always with us.
For todays card I have used some more of the wonderful watercolor stamps from Art Impressions to create a watering can bouquet.  Thought I would link this up for the Word Art Wednesday challenge.

Hope the rest of your week is filled with blessings.

Ginger Raccoon

Looks like the temps here may be going up a bit in the next few days, but fall is still in full swing.  This is a season of thankfulness and little Ginger Raccoon from Purple Onion Designs wants to join in.
I've used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches this week.  For the strip Ginger is sitting on, I laid down a strip of  double sided tape onto some cardstock and added some glitter, burnishing it well with a bone folder.  It's a beautiful rich copper brown color.

Copics Used:
raccoon N1, N3, N5, N7, E01, E02
pumpkin YR65, YR68, E08, YG91
scarf YG63, G94, Y17, YR24

I'm thankful for you all.  Be blessed!

Christmas Shakers

Today Art Impressions is debuting six brand new Mini Shaker sets and I've got three of them to share with you today.  The Mini Shaker sets include the stamps, die, and an action wobble for the "shake".
First we have the Santa Mini Shaker.  His mustache is cut with the die and popped up with the action wobble.

Next we have the Snowman Mini Shaker.  I trimmed around the bottom of his scarf so he could stick out a bit over the picture frame.  The puff ball on his hat is covered with Flower Soft.  It's the "Shake" part.

Last I have the Reindeer Mini Shaker.  I cut his nose out of some red glitter paper.  Rudy needs to be "Shiny and Bright".  LOL  Young or old will have fun wiggling his nose.

As cards or even Christmas tags these cuties will add some fun to your Christmas celebration.
     Be blessed!

Now I don't do Halloween, but several Halloween stamp sets were in my goodie box from Art Impressions.  I decided to used some of the smaller images to make tags.  I found this cool birch tree that lights up at Michaels to hang them on.
Here's a close up of each tag.

Placecard cuties

Wow!  The first day of October already.  That means all the fall and winter holidays are creeping up on us fast.  If you have parties in your plans I have a super cute way to dress up your table.
Art Impressions has just released two sets of place card die sets.  The first one, Cat and Owl, lets you create the two cuties above and the other, Christmas, makes the two frosties below.  I didn't use all the dies in either set and trust me you are NOT restricted in ANY way from making tons of different kinds of characters from the dies.  Just mix and make your own.  You can find lots of examples of what you can make right here on AI's Pinterest boards.

Here are the two die sets.

I have another Purple Onion Designs card to share today.  This one was made with this sweet Flower image.  I stamped it in Versamark and embossed in white, then I watercolored.  I used POD's Grass stamp and one of their sentiments to finish the card off.

Up, up, and away

Is this one bright or what!?!  LOL  This was my first attempt at inking an embossing folder.  Next time I'll check for stray ink in the creases, but for right now we're calling them sun spots.  LOL
The bear, balloon, and sentiment are from Purple Onion Designs.  I stamped the bear and cut off the sparkler he is holding so I could put the balloons in his hand.  I didn't stamp the balloon strings so I could add the embroidery floss.  Hope the happy yellow brightens you day.

Be blessed!

Manger scene

Today I am sharing the adorable Nativity Mini TryFold from Art Impressions.

Nativity MTF

I decided to try a bit of a different way to use the stamp set instead of the tri-fold design.  For my card I used three pieces of watercolor paper.  The first two were scored on the left, adhered together along the left side and then the pair were adhered to the last piece that baby Jesus was stamped on.  I then tied some hemp cord around the score line.  The card stands up slightly fanned so you can see all the layers.
My coloring was done in watercolor style with several different products.

You can find this wonderful set in the AI store or your favorite online retailer like Simon Says Stamp or Ellen Hutson.
Be blessed!

My crafty mojo seems to be taking it's time helping me out lately.  Maybe if the temps would cool off I'd be more in the mood.
Today I have some Purple Onion Designs cuteness to share with you.  I've combined three stamps and a sentiment for this card.  I've been playing a lot with my watercolors lately so you'll be seeing them on a LOT of my posts.

Have a blessed day!

Old barn

I have another card today to share using one of the newest watercolor mini sets from Art Impressions.

Old Barn Mini Set
I also used some stamps from the Flower set and Foliage set 1.  That's one of the really great things about the Art Impressions watercolor stamp sets.  You can mix stamps from all the sets to create your scenes.
Still trying to work out my color combos.  Those front purple plants are a little LOT bright.  LOL

Be blessed!

Covered bridge

I was chomping at the bit to get back home to the huge package of new Art Impressions goodies waiting for me.  Today I'm sharing a card I created with one of the watercolor sets.  I used a combination of  Distress markers and inks to stamp the images.

I'm still learning a lot about using these stamps.

Our trip out west

WARNING:  Picture heavy

Hubby and I just spent three weeks exploring in California, Oregon, and Washington.  Thought I'd share a few of the pics I took.  I am NOT a great photographer and truthfully these sights can only really be appreciated in person.  Maybe they'll inspire you to check them out if you haven't already.

I do have a card front made but that's as far as I've gotten.  So many things to catch up on after being away for three weeks. Be back in the bloggie world as quick as I can.
